JAKARTA - The Finance Director of PT Cisadane Sawit Raya Tbk (CSRA), Seman Sendjaja, revealed that the increase in CPO import tariffs implemented by India will not have much effect on the performance of Indonesia's palm oil exports, considering this policy has already been implemented.

Apart from that, India's high demand for crude palm oil (CPO) products is also the hope of business actors to encourage the absorption of CPO in the Indian market.

Seman said India's efforts to increase their palm oil import tax were more for the protection of the vegetable oil industry in India.. (*)
