PT Cisadane Sawit Raya Tbk. annually provide social assistance to the children of its workers. For the 2018 – 2019 school year, the delivery of social assistance in the palm oil mill unit (PMKS) was organized on Tuesday, 4 March 2020 at the Company office in Sei Siarti Village, Panai Tengah District, Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra Province. The appropriation was administered by Mr. Wahyu Hidayat (Assistant Personnel) and Mr. Rudi Wardani (Personnel Administration and Wages), and was attended by 21 children and their parents.
This annual routine activity serves as a contribution of the Company towards improving the quality of education. In particular, this activity aims to assist children of workers who achieve good grades in their respective classes at the end of each school year. The implementation of this activity was carried out with the support of the management of the Workers Unions at PMKS who helped data collecting on the children of employees who excel at their respective schools.
The provision of social assistance is expected to be able to spur the enthusiasm for learning of employees’ children in gaining knowledge for their future life. In parallel, it is hoped that the achievements of the children will in turn spur the parents to be more motivated in their work, thereby producing good and positive impact for the Company.
Representing the Company, Mr. Rudi Wardani congratulated the children who had studied so well that they could be in the top ranks of their respective schools. The company will also make efforts to make improvements to ensure that all employees have been registered and have received complete information regarding the provision of social assistance. Mr. Wahyu Hidayat also expressed his hope that the students would be more active in learning so that they continue to achieve excellence in their studies the following year. The accompanying parents of students who excelled in their studies expressed their appreciation for the attention and support of the Company.
